The GreatSchools data is displayed below the Map in the Detailed Listing view of the IDX search results on every single listing on our RealtyTech Client websites for both Agents and Companies. The data includes the schools’ proximities to the listing, rating and grade level. When clicked, each school name automatically links to its individual GreatSchools profile in a new window for extended information about each educational institution.A property’s school district is often a deciding factor in the homebuyer’s decision. Having the new school demographic data displayed on the listings helps streamline the home search process and enhances the user experience on the IDX123 system. It also helps retain visitors during the home search process because they will not have to leave the search results to find this information."We strive to add the most desired information to our IDX home search,” said RealtyTech CEO, Richard Uzelac. “Adding this feature to our IDX123 system increases the value offered to our clients, and ultimately the new prospective home owners and their families. Social media platforms are a great way for Realtors® to keep in touch with past clients and to gain exposure to new clients. In today’s online marketing environment, it is beyond beneficial for a company to have its social media sites connected to its main website. Successful social media profiles will drive traffic to the company’s website and enhance online credibility. The use of social media humanizes a company or brand by giving them a voice and an online personality. “We wanted to make it as easy as possible for our Clients to connect their social media profiles to their websites,” said RealtyTech CEO, Richard Uzelac. “Adding this feature to our Agent123 Websites will help our Clients get the most return from the work they are putting in on social media.” The new feature is available through the Site Settings Menu in the Dashboard of RealtyTech’s Agent123 Websites. RealtyTech Inc., a Thousand Oaks, CA real estate software and marketing corporation, just launched a IDX system
specifically designed for the CRMLS. The new CRMLS IDX system from RealtyTech Inc. features new innovative displays and mapping integration. As computers and other devices have become faster, the ability to display larger more vibrant home photos has become much more practical. “Home Buyers and Home Sellers are now accustomed to using live maps to view locations of places they want to visit. Smart phone users map out directions of where they want to go on an everyday basis,” said RealtyTech President and CEO, Richard Uzelac. “Subsequently, we have managed to increase the exposure of live mapping throughout our search pathway to aid Home Buyers in particular to find and navigate the available listings they’re interested in.” With recent changes in the IDX feed and permissions from the MLS’s, RealtyTech Inc. has included the ability to display recent sold listings among the active listings in a search result. This added feature will greatly help both Home Buyers and Sellers alike to better understand the current marketplace. The new polygon drawing tool gives users the ability to visually create custom searches and makes their search truly their own. Many Buyers have certain specific areas that they want to search. With the new Polygon Boundary Tool, they have the power to make it happen exactly as they want. They can then save the exact search and receive new listings as they become available right in their inboxes.
The new IDX123
design displays listings in a results column on the left of the screen and the detailed listing data in a larger portion of the screen on the right. The new layout makes it easier for users to browse and compare listings on the same screen because it minimizes the need to toggle between results pages and detailed listing pages. It also feels more natural because we are used to reading from left to right. The new detailed listing view grabs the user’s attention with large images from the get go that are then followed by the listing details. This view also includes integrated Social Sharing functionality that makes it easy for users to share listings via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. “A picture is worth 1000 words and forms an immediate emotional connection between the user and the property listed,” said RealtyTech President and CEO, Richard Uzelac. “Users are more likely to actually read the listing details if they like the images. This is why we made the pictures larger and the focal point of our detailed listing view.” To make the home search process easier, RealtyTech will be launching their Polygonal Map Search in late July 2014. This new search lets users select the area that they would like to see listings in by drawing an outline on the map view. The Polygonal Map Search is a quick and simple way for users to save searches in areas as specific as a street within a neighborhood and receive automated Listing Alert emails when there are updates to the market in these areas. “We built our Polygonal Map Search to make selecting an area more of an interactive and visual experience,” said Uzelac. “Today’s online community responds positively to these types of searches because they are easier to navigate than the more traditional checklist menus.” The Polygonal Map Search will be available to RealtyTech Clients who are currently using the IDX123 system at no additional charge.

“I think we are seeing a evolution in the social media space. I’ve been a big fan of LinkedIn
for business for years, and finally it is getting the attention it deserves,” said Uzelac. “LinkedIn users tend to be more successful and better educated on average than those of other social media such as Facebook or Twitter. These are just the type of people the aware Realtor should be targeting now and in the future.” Uzelac will be offering his expert insights on how Realtors can optimize their LinkedIn accounts to gain credibility and build valuable professional relationships with future clients. “LinkedIn is in fact a social platform. Even though most users are business oriented, all the same social practices need to be adhered to on LinkedIn,” Uzelac added. “LinkedIn allows Realtors to connect with the right people they can provide value to. They can also join user Groups to contribute to the conversations in their areas of expertise, thus building their brand exposure and credibility.” RealtyTech Senior Account Executive, Lance Grove, will be demoing the new and improved Premium IDX123 property search at booth #1. While Senior Director of Realtor.com®, I saw firsthand how important the real estate search system is for Consumer engagement in an Agent or Office. A bad tedious search meant a fast exit of millions of visitors from the site,” said Richard Uzelac, CEO of RealtyTech Inc. “Removing steps in the search and making it very intuitive will pay huge dividends to our valued RealtyTech Clients, and better serve their IDX users.” Additionally, home-buyers respond very positively to images online. The new IDX will feature the largest images that can be provided by the MLS coupled with a user-friendly image slider to grab the users’ attention and guide them to a controllable lead capture system. Social media is often acknowledged yet underutilized in the real estate industry. No technology webinar beats a face to face presentation; RealtyTech will be visiting Southern California real estate offices this year and guiding Agents to a successful 2014 using online tools such as Agent websites, Facebook, and IDX. According to the 2013 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers
, published last month by NAR®, 92 percent of recent home buyers used the Internet during their home search process. For 42 percent of recent home buyers, looking at properties online was the first step in their home buying process. A Realtor’s® online presence and functionality are more important now than they ever have been in the past. “We are trying to take the mystery and jargon out of online marketing and branding for real estate agents and companies,” said RealtyTech President, Richard Uzelac. “Our Web Success Workshops have been very well received for years and the 2014 version will be our best yet.” The workshops will feature online reputation management, social media and web marketing strategies designed to make agents stand out in the increasingly congested online marketplace.
